Sometimes the opportunity comes along to take a nice snapshot. The app PhotoNoter helps to add a comment to the image and pass it on to friends. It either takes a new photo or imports one from the gallery. Pictures are automatically placed in a white frame, leaving enough room for a caption. Another option is to randomly add a comment anyplace on the picture. The user may also insert an arrow or circle a particular spot to accentuate something on the photo.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to type a text description. It would look better and also be faster. The user can only add handwritten notes. Anyone that has ever used his knobby index finger to write something down will know what that may look like. It may come out nice, but could also be completely illegible. Have you ever tried writing something down while on a subway train?
The result is saved as a new image in the library – or may also be posted on the social networks.
Conclusion:
“PhotoNoter” labels photos – with the finger. It is an app that may often times come in handy in everyday life. It would be perfect if it would accept text notes from a keyboard.
Plus/Minus:
+ Adds the date and time right below the image
+ Offers multiple undo functions
+ Photo sharing via Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr
