Chillingo has a new game: “Critter Escape”. The first impression – sensational 3D graphics that are up to movie standards. A little fat critter is fascinated by a butterfly and follows him onto a meadow, only to end up in the web of evil scientists. Locked up in a laboratory he has to endure terrible experiments – until a chance to escape comes along.
The game features 120 levels, always displaying a scrolling section of the laboratory from a bird’s eye view. The player has a top view of large rooms, narrow hallways and locked doors. He uses his finger to draw the way the critter should take on the floor, and the little creature immediately follows the track.
Very important: along the way the critter may not be seen by any of the scientists. This means that his escape route needs to be chosen very carefully, so he is not spotted by any of the people that are wandering around. Any visual contact instantly ends the level. Power-ups make the critter faster or stronger.
